NICMOSlook uses the Plot Popup window to display the results of the Plots option from the main NICMOSlook
window. The Plot Popup window offers the user several option to re-plot the displayed data,
measure FWHM, and to save the data or plot to disk.

This field is used by the NICMOSlook Plot Popup window to report on its status and to give short
direction to the user.

With this button, areas on the plot window can be selected with the mouse.
Selection is terminated by using the RIGHT mouse button on the last coordinate
of desired region. A Gaussian is fitted to each selected region, and the
plot is replaced with panels containing the results. To return to the
original plot, push

The same procedure as above, but the output will go to a Postscript file instead
of the screen.

The plot type can be selected with one of these switches:

Redisplays the Plot Popup window.

Writes the plot currently displayed to a Postscript file.

Data currently on the screen will be written to a simple ASCII data file when
this button is selected.

This button closes the plot popup window and returns control to the main
NICMOSlook window.
