Currently, I am employed by the Space Telescope - European Coordinating Facility as a Scientific Software Developer.

The project page gives a fair overview on the various software and data reduction projects I am involved in.

Particularly worth mentioning is the aXe spectral extraction package, which constitutes the core of my activities. Here I am the main (and only) software developer.

Together with my colleague Jonas Haase I am developing the AstroAsciiData module, which is a python module to read, manipulate and write tabular ASCII data.
