Although there were no observations of rare features, there was a clear observation of the 46 degree halo and its upper tangent and/or the circumzenithal arc. The halos were visible from 13:30 to 15:20 local time (UT + 1hr) and were photographed with a (Kodak DC50) digital camera at various zooms. The photograps were taken close to the river Isar, south of Bad Toelz.
