About ST-ECF

The ST-ECF consists of a small group of astronomers, software scientists and media specialists who support Hubble science in Europe and collaborate internationally on HST science, instrument, archive and outreach activities.

How to get to us

The ST-ECF

• provides detailed technical information about the HST and its science instruments,
• supports European astronomers in the preparation of HST observing proposals
• coordinates the development of software tuned to the specific data analysis needs of HST users,
• operates and maintains an archive of all the scientific data collected by HST,
• acts as a European centre for associated meetings and workshops,
• provides a contact point for European media regarding public information
